Pupils deepen their knowledge and understanding through our fortnightly projects that allow children to be immersed in their learning.
Pupils learn in different environments, including our woodland area, by exploring, wondering and thinking.
We nurture all our pupils, including children with additional needs, to ensure they are included in everything we do at our school.
Pupils collaborate to enhance their learning. Children share their ideas and make connections together.
Aycliffe Community Primary School is a Rights Respecting School. We value our pupils thoughts, ideas and feelings.
Pupils can start each day at our breakfast club. Children enjoy food, breakfast and building friendships together.
We recognise and develop our pupils different talents. Children have the opportunity to take part in a range of daily free sports clubs.
In all we do at Aycliffe, we are developing children who are collaborative, inquisitive, compassionate, creative, eager and confident.
We respect our pupils right to relax and play (Article 31) at playtime. During playtime children can join in with different activities.
