The pupils in class Blanc did some reading with Mrs Cowley this week, we asked them what book they have been reading and how they found reading with Mrs Cowley. This is what they said...
Alexander - It's called the Secret Whirlpool, they dive into the volcano with water then they go under the whirlpool and see a tornado; it looks like a tornado. I enjoyed the book and reading it. I think it’s helping my reading; it’s a long book and it’s cool.
Sydney - I like to read with Mrs Cowley because it’s helping me; I am reading The Laughing Princess. She writes in my book when I read with her. I am enjoying reading with Mrs Cowley. I would like to read with her again.
Lia - I like when I read with her because it’s interesting. I am reading The Bully because Miss Sedgewick gave it to me to read. The book is about people trying to stop the bully. Mrs Cowley points to the word I need to help me. Sometimes I read the whole sentence. I have been in the library twice with Mrs Cowley. When other people are reading I get to read some books and then Mrs Cowley reads with me again.
Spencer - I have enjoyed it and I have had fun. I have a Bug Hunt book it looks nice; talking about spiders was my favourite part. When I get the words wrong she helps me; she tells me the word. One time I got the word 'bugs' wrong. She writes in the reading book and she reads with me carefully.
