Unicef – our school’s chosen charity
Since November 2014 the school has been raising money for the Unicef charity.
As per the Unicef website they ensure more of the world’s children are fed, vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. They work in over 190 countries around the world. Unicef say they have done more to influence laws, policies and customs to help protect children than anyone else in history.
Over the past year the school has raised £581.55 from events such as the MUFTI day (pupils wearing their own clothes to school on the last day of term) and cake sales.
A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this fund raising. Please do continue to support Unicef at future events.
The whole-school target for our attendance is 96%, which would mean that your child would be away for only 7 days in an academic year.
