Pupils in La Classe Marron visited the Dover Museum in the week and here are their thoughts on the trip……
Ronnie said ‘It was good, my favourite bit was making the Viking clay heads. I learnt that the Vikings invaded Canterbury and they bribed the people with money. They travelled through Dover to get to Canterbury on horses.’
Izzy said ‘It was good fun, my favourite part was making the clay head and exploring the artefacts because Ronnie and Macey had to put on chainmail and a helmet. I learnt that Vikings used horses and elephants as modes of transport. Every century the ground gets higher so if you dig down you go back in time.
