School Disco

The school disco is on Thursday 30 March 2017.  Tickets are now on sale, £2 per ticket.

Key stage 1 disco is 3.15pm - 4.15pm.

Key stage 2 disco is 4.30pm - 5.30pm.

Please ensure that all pupils are collected after the disco by an adult.

Easter Raffle

Raffle tickets are now on sale, 20p per ticket or £1 per strip. 

1st prize - Beautiful Chocolate Hamper

2nd prize - Easter Egg

3rd prize - Box of Thorntons Chocolates

4th prize - Chocolate Bunny and KitKats

5th prize - Chocolate Bunny and KitKats

All money raised will go towards improving our woodland area.

Pupil Voice

This is what the children thought of their cooking course.

Emelia said “We liked making smoothies, we got lots of fruit to put in it.  It is very healthy.”

Maizie said “I really liked the cooking course, I really liked my smoothie moustache”

Olivia said “I really liked making breakfast, I had banana and Weetabix in mine!”

Junior said “We made some smoothies and breakfast for ourselves.  It tastes really nice.  I made it with bananas and grapes.”

Layton said “I enjoyed making smoothies.  I made it out of banana and orange juice.  I had fun!”

Special Offer

After school sports clubs

After school clubs will start on Monday 20 February 2017.  If you would like to your child to attend, please contact the school office.  As a special offer these clubs will be free for a term on a first come first serve basis. After school sports clubs are running and there are still spaces available. 

Monday - Multi-Sports for Years 1 - 6

Tuesday - Take Action for Years 2 - 6 - FULL

Wednesday - Football for Years 2 - 6 - FULL

Thursday - Street Dance for Years 2 - 6

Friday - Gymnastics for Years 2 - 6 - FULL

All sports clubs finish at 4.15pm and all children must be collected by an adult.    

Celebration Assembly

Giulia for excellent commitment to the tasks set to her and some wonderful work on our tiny seed story in English.  Well done Giulia.

Lillie-Mae for responding to positively in both Maths and English activities and produced some excellent work - well done Lillie-Mae.

Naomi for exploring and thinking about daily life in Ancient Egypt and connecting her writing to her English learning.

Home Start

We have a mother and baby/toddler group which runs every Wednesday here at school from 09.00 - 11.15am.  All welcome.

Image Consents

If we have not yet received your consent forms for Sharing Images of Children, could you please return them as soon as possible.  We would like to start sharing some of the pupil’s activities on FaceBook.

PE Kits

Could parents please make sure that all pupils have their PE kits ready and in school.  Each pupil has their own locker where their PE kits can be kept during the school term.

Late arrival at school

When your child arrives late at school, he/she misses the teacher's instructions, their morning task and possibly the introduction to the lesson. Your child may also feel embarrassed at having to enter the classroom late. School begins at 09.00am.  Please help your child to be punctual.
