We asked some of our school ambassadors about their visitor from UNICEF they had this week and this is what they said...
Kimberley - When we were walking around and showing him the rights, 96%, the displays and projects we have done in the past he really enjoyed them. He really liked our respect tree and he really liked the pupil panel display.
Luke - We had to show him around the classes, projects and the library. He said they were fantastic, he loved the respect tree it was great. We told him what the classes are called.
Riley - We took him around each class and each class behaved well he said. He only asked questions to the year 3 they answered well, the question he asked was, what are the children’s rights? He liked all of our display boards and how they are set out.
Daniel - We showed him around all of the classes and all the work we have been doing, we showed him the year 6 amusement park rides and he said how hard we must have worked to get them working. We also showed him our school values and told him we wanted to have them when we are older to become a good person.
Lillie-Mae for connecting her learning in maths and for being reflective and resilient when it was a little tricky!

After school sports clubs
After school clubs will start on Monday 05 June 2017. If you would like to your child to attend, please contact the school office. As a special offer these clubs will be free for a term on a first come first serve basis.
Monday - Multi-Sports for Years 1 - 6
Tuesday - Take Action for Years 2 - 6
Wednesday - Football for Years 2 - 6
Thursday - Street Dance for Years 2 - 6
Friday - Gymnastics for Years 2 - 6
All sports clubs finish at 4.15pm and all children must be collected by an adult.

We have a mother and baby/toddler group which runs every Wednesday here at school from 09.00 - 11.15am. All welcome.

If we have not yet received your consent forms for Sharing Images of Children, could you please return them as soon as possible. We would like to start sharing some of the pupil’s activities on FaceBook.
Could parents please make sure that all pupils have their PE kits ready and in school. Each pupil has their own locker where their PE kits can be kept during the school term.
Late arrival at school
When your child arrives late at school, he/she misses the teacher's instructions, their morning task and possibly the introduction to the mathematics lesson. Your child may also feel embarrassed at having to enter the classroom late. School begins at 09.00am. Please help your child to be punctual.
