Pupil Voice

Duckling Diary

Timeo said "The ducklings came to swim in the water, they knew how to swim already.  They had a poo in the water whilst they were swimming.  The ducklings have gone home today, I feel sad.  I think that they will get eaten when they are older."

Olly said "The ducklings have been playing 'Peak a Boo' with the class.  The ducklings have got a lot bigger this week.  They are so fluffy.  They have been drinking a lot of water.  Yesterday the ducklings had a swim for the first time, they also had a walk around on the carpet.  Today the ducklings have gone out, I will really miss them."

Layla said "The ducklings have been playing 'Peak a Boo', eating and sleeping.  The ducklings always win at 'Peak a Boo'.  They have been jumping over their food tray and in it. I have really enjoyed having them, one even pecked me.  I will really miss them because they are really cute.  My dad said that we could have ducks in our garden."

Pupils in Year 6 were asked if they enjoyed their Ancient Egyptian Workshop.

Thomas said "I really enjoyed being able to smash up the chalk and grinding seeds into flour.  I loved making our own necklaces, we got to keep them and they are meant to be a good luck charm."

Sienna said "My favourite part was spotting if the ancient artefacts were real or fake.  Also when we were drawing the 'book of the dead' for when they follow it in their afterlife."

Dennis said "I enjoyed the end when we could play a game of digging up treasure from sand."

Summer said "It was a really good pleasure to have the people here, we learnt a lot about ancient Egyptians from them.  I really liked weaving the reed mats.  I would have one in my house."
