Pupil Voice

The pupils in La classe Noir enjoyed a lesson in the forest school this week. We asked them what they had done whilst at the forest school and this is what they said...

Alejandro - I liked finding different plants with other people. It was quite sunny in the day and there were loads of different insects: there were baby spiders, fly’s and bees. We were learning how many different types of plants we could find: 'forget me not' was my favourite plant.

Leah - There were flowers called 'forget me not': they have light blue petals and a tiny bit of yellow in them. I saw some flowers in the pond. It was fun to learn outside in the sun. We all sat down and talked: we put all the information on a sheet with our learning partners. We put all the information in the little paragraphs. I thought it was fun and interesting.

Mackenzie - Me and Kian walked down a path. We saw this bush with loads of thorns we looked on the sheet and we found out it was a bramble bush. We walked up to the grass bit and found a flower that was called 'forget me not'. We also found lots of stinging nettles. Kian showed me how to hold them: you put your fingers on the middle part of the stinging nettle. I didn’t touch them though. I felt really entertained by what we did in the forest school. I saw a spider on a flower and I saw a bee flying around my head looking for flowers.
