Pupil Voice

This week we went into the reception class and asked them how they have found their first week at Aycliffe Community Primary School; this is what they said...

Amelia - I have been painting. I have done the inside dinosaur singing, we snapped and we stomped. Eating lunch, eating pudding, coming back to class to do paintings, drawing and playing outside. My favourite thing at school is painting.

Freddy - Played, sang and played outside. I made Curtis, Layla and Archie as friends. I have been learning to make people better. The first thing I did at school was played* on the computer.

Sophia - Playing outside, we have got a slide outside. Playing playdough inside with Poppy. My favourite thing I have done is colouring. My new friends are Amelia and Poppy.

PE Kits

Could parents please make sure that all pupils have their PE kits ready and in school.  Each pupil has their own locker where their PE kits can be kept during the school term.

Late arrival at school

When your child arrives late at school, he/she misses the teacher's instructions, their morning task and possibly the introduction to the mathematics lesson. Your child may also feel embarrassed at having to enter the classroom late. School begins at 09.00am.  Please help your child to be punctual.
